Right to Decline Jobs (No Penalties)

  • You can decline any job offer without penalty or impact on your account status
  • Declined jobs do NOT count against you in any way
  • No "acceptance rate" requirement
  • No deactivation or rating hits for declining work

Fair Payment & No Hidden Fees

  • All fees and splits are disclosed upfront before you bid
  • DIBS platform fee is standard across all service types
  • No surprise deductions from your earnings
  • You know exactly what you'll earn before accepting

Independent Contractor Status

  • You are an independent contractor, not an employee
  • You control your own schedule and work hours
  • You can work on any platform simultaneously
  • You maintain complete control over your business practices
  • DIBS does not provide workers compensation, benefits, or unemployment insurance

Multi-Platform Work Rights

  • You have the explicit right to work on DIBS and competitor platforms at the same time
  • No exclusivity requirements
  • No non-compete clause
  • You own your client relationships

Dispute & Appeal Rights

  • If deactivated, you have the right to appeal within 30 days
  • Appeals include the right to present your side of the story
  • Disputes are resolved fairly by trained administrators

A: Yes, absolutely. You are an independent contractor and can work on any platform simultaneously. There is no exclusivity requirement.

Q: What happens if I'm deactivated?

A: You will receive written notice explaining the reason. You have 30 days to appeal the decision and present your evidence.

Q: Do you take taxes out of my pay?

A: No. You are a 1099 contractor and are responsible for your own taxes. We provide 1099-NEC forms at year-end for your tax filing.

Q: Who owns my customer relationships?

A: You do. As an independent contractor, you own your client relationships and can service them directly.
