DIBS, Inc. is a technology marketplace and connection platform. Homeowners use DIBS to submit service requests, and independent local providers use DIBS to identify requests they may choose to accept or pass. DIBS does not employ providers, perform the requested services, or advertise employment or guaranteed jobs. DIBS facilitates the connection, communications, payment workflow, and marketplace tools between the parties. Each accepted service request is a separate transaction between the homeowner and the independent provider. Current DIBS marketplace policy limits each separate service request to a maximum service amount of $499. Regulated trades, permit-required work, structural work, and other blocked scopes are not offered through the current marketplace.
